It resolves scheduling conflicts automatically and optimizes around due dates; the planner reviews and stays in control of what gets committed.
Does Skody change the sequence on the floor by itself?
No. Skody produces a proposed updated plan. The planner reviews the proposal, adjusts if needed, and commits it. Skody does not change the production sequence without a person.
How does Skody handle outside processing like heat treat or powder coat?
Outside operations are modeled as steps in the routing with their own lead times and promised return dates, so a vendor pushing heat treat three days shows up as a due-date risk on the downstream operations instead of a surprise at assembly.
Does Skody replace our ERP?
No. The ERP stays the system of record. Skody connects to it (read-only) and adds finite capacity scheduling and live shop conditions on top.
