      MMS visited Three Sigma Manufacturing in Kent, WA and Yeager Manufacturing Technologies in Winter Park, FL to look at how both shops handle schedule drift — the gap that opens between the morning plan and the actual floor. Neither shop was short on data; both could see what was late. What changed was seeing it early enough to move something.
